If you do much baking, you know that it can get expensive. One way to save a little money is to freeze some of your ingredients maybe you have never thought of freezing before, so they will last longer. Two relatively expensive baking items that you may occasionally buy are buttermilk and canned pumpkin. Once you buy these two items and use what you need, it’s easy to freeze them in ice cube trays until you need them again. Both freeze nicely and only need a little stirring after defrosted to return to their freshest forms.
